Once again, the company presented its masterpiece of technology - BMW i3 made from ecofriendly materials. Thus, the smart electric car can not only save on power and execute remote driver’s commands, but it’s also integrated within the smart home system.
BMW i3 can be definitely called the car of the future. In order to protect the environment, engineers created the model from scratch using only the ecofriendly components and renewable sources. In particular, elements of the inner trim include eucalyptus – a fast-growing tree. In addition, this electric car can charge at the special schedule, saving energy.
The unique model is literally packed with various techs and systems. i3 can be controlled using a mobile gadget. Connected Drive app allows to check the battery level, control windows, doors and headlights, as well as set the climate control system.
Still, the key feature of this new electric car is its integration with a smart home. Using the Smart Things special app for Android, the driver can set the temperature inside the house, activate security system and check whether home windows and doors are closed. The app has a user-friendly interface, so the user won’t face any difficulties while adjusting various parameters.
