IOTAS vice director will explain why the bill on “sovereign Internet” will slow down the IoT industry
On February 12, the State Duma adopted the bill on “sovereign Internet” in the first reading. This document guarantees the operation of the Internet in case Russian operators disconnect from the global network. However, its requirements may hinder the adoption of the IoT technologies in the country. The Internet of Things Association (IOTAS) reported about this issue in the letter addressed to the authors of the bill.
On March 27, the Internet of Things conference will be opened by the vice director of the IOTAS Gleb Pyzhov. The speaker will explain how the potential law may influence smart city technologies, transport infrastructure, and manufacturing.
Topic of his presentation: “How the bill on "sovereign Internet" may hinder the development of the IoT industry”.
