Mikhail Godenko from MIKRON JSC to dwell on Russian microelectronics in the security system

What role do home electronic components play in the system of information security of Russian critical infrastructure? On March 27, Head of projects at MIKRON JSC Mikhail Godenko will be a speaker of the Internet of Things conference and cover this question.

The presentation is titled: ‘Russian microelectronics as the security basis of critical infrastructure’.

Mikhail Godenko has profound experience in this sphere: currently, the share of MIKRON JSC in the export of all the Russian electronic devices is estimated at about 70%. This company has been functioning for 55 years. MIKRON (initially factory) was the leading supplier of integrated circuits across the USSR.

The company currently produces integrated circuits with the 65 nm process. Besides, it manufactures discrete semiconductors, integrated circuits for smart cards and RFID products.

Recent projects of MIKRON JSC are a chip for the national payment system MIR, RFID tickets to Aeroexpress, chips for biometric passports, all kinds of transport cards, and smart badges.
