Smart watch to be left without touch keyboard19 July 2017
The joint team of specialists from the State University of New York at Stony Brook (New York, USA) and Tsinghua University (China) has developed a new texting method for smart watches called COMPASS. It is completely devoid of a touch keyboard.
Instead, you can text by rotating a display frame. By moving it, the user changes letters reflected on the smart watch. When scrolled to the needed letter, fix the frame – you will hear a click.
This method allows to speed texting from 10 words per minute to 12.5.
